The coastline od the County is about 48 km long. The estuaries of the rivers Seman, Vjosa and Shkumbin can be utilized for beach, water sports of hunting, due to natural reserves located nearby.
It is still an ecologically clean area and a valuable resource for the use of nature tourism thrpigh the presence of maritime pines, the Godulla lagoon, the river’s deltas, the clean sand and healthy nature.
The rich history of the county from neolithic times till after communist period has left a treasure of cultural and archaeological remains, all situated in beautiful natural surroundings.
